Home to my one and only set of sunrise photos. Not to say that I actually got up early, but that I finally made it far enough north that the sun rose at 11 o'clock in the morning. The downside is that it was really really cold. Helsinki is beautiful at night, with strings of lights everywhere for Christmas and to combat the long nights. Take a ferry out to Suomenlinna for the to see a beautiful old fortress stretching multiple islands - no cars allowed!
